    In order to improve interface bonding between fiber and matrix and mechanical property of carbon/carbon composites,three kinds of surface treatment were applied to carbon fibers.The results showed that the surface of fiber became rough after the treatment at 2200℃ under inert gas,which formed a strong bonding in as-prepared C/C composites.The flexural strength of C/C composites was improved by 75% than that of the C/C composites reinforced by fiber of no surface treatment.The surface of fiber had more notches after the treatment at 400℃ under atmosphere gas,which formed a moderate bonding in as-prepared C/C composites and the flexural strength was improved by 43% than that of the C/C composites reinforced by fiber of no surface treatment.The smooth surface of fiber after the treatment at 1700℃ under inert gas formed a weak bonding in as-prepared C/C composite and the flexural strength was lower than that of C/C composites reinforced by fiber of no surface treatment.

    LIANG Hai, MAO Wei, SUN Ji-sheng. Microstructures of High Temperature Brazed Joints of Cast Superalloy K465[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 2005, 0(9): 7-10,15.

    An experimental investigation of high temperature vacuum brazing at 1220℃ of nickel-based cast superalloy K465 was performed by using a type of nickel-based high temperature active brazing filler metal bearing aluminum and titanium elements.The microstructures of brazed joints with different clearances and post-braze heat treatment conditions were analyzed by optical microscope,SEM and EDS. The investigation shows that the structure of brazing seam with 0.1~0.2mm clearance consists of(γ+γ′) eutectic,compounds in blocky,Chinese script or feathery and irregular forms,and γ solid solution.The structure of brazing seam with nickel mesh addition to the brazing clearance primarily consists of a large amount of γ dendrite,a small quantity of(γ+γ′) eutectic and compounds.Post-braze heat treatment was not apparently able to eliminate detrimental compounds in the brazing seam with 0.1~0.2mm clearance,but with nickel mesh addition to the braze clearance,resulting in considerable improvement of brazed joint structure,reduction of detrimental compounds and significant post-braze heat treatment effects.

    Surface modification by C and Ti ion implantation with MEVVA source was investigated on H13 steel which was nitrided firstly.The results show that surface hardness and wear resistance of H13 steel is obviously improved,friction coefficient is depressed by C and Ti ion implantation.Consequently,the life of the die and the surface quality of products is improved remarkably.The average output of every die increases 200% approximately than before,and it reaches 9.86 tons.

    The high and low cure temperature Tm component Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-based ceramic powders were prepared by molten salt synthesis using mixtures of NaCl-KCl salt.The composite ceramics used with PMN-based ferroelectric relaxors were prepared by mixed sintering method.The dielectric,electrostrictive properties and temperature stability were investigated.The results indicate that the ceramics not only has excellent dielectric(ε<sub>25℃ is 8368)and electrostrictive properties(S is 2.8×10-4),but also has better temperature stability from -10℃ to +70℃.

    Pb2+-doped and Cu2+,Pb2+ co-doped beta barium borate(β-BaB2O4) nanoparticles were prepared by co-precipitation method.The photoluminescence spectra of the doped samples were investigated.A relatively strong and stable visible-light emission band of Pb2+-doped β-BaB2O4 sample centered at about 630nm was observed originating from the Pb2+-related charge-transfer transition.Because of the role of the composite center of Cu2+ and Pb2+,the photoluminescence spectra of the co-doped sample are dramatically different from that of the Pb2+-doped sample and the luminescence intensities of the β-BaB2O4: Pb2+ have been greatly enhanced.

    A research about the dispersing,physical and flame retardant performance of Mg(OH)2+Al(OH)3+PP under the impact of vibration field is present.Experiment results show that,with the increase of frequency and swing,the dispersing,physical and flame retardant performances are improved greatly,tension strength,impact strength and oxygen index have increased about 32%,39% and 10%,and finally arrive a steady value.

    The influence of annealing,degreasing,electropolishing on the morphology of porous anodic alumina was investigated.Experiments indicate that acetone exhibits the best degreasing effect and that well-arranged porous anodic alumina film is obtained without annealing and electropolishing.The preparation of porous anodic alumina film is simplified because of the two-step anodic oxidation method that eliminates the influence of disfigurement inside and on the surface of aluminium.

    As for traditional foamed aluminum prepared by foaming technique,it is difficult to control the pore size of the products.The aluminum powder was adopted as foaming agent.Through adding different concentration of aluminum powder and foaming agent and changing the foaming temperature of the melted aluminum,foamed aluminum products with homogeneous structures and different density and various size of foam structure were obtained.The whole process of technique was easy to be controled and adjusted.

    Using mechanical activation-spark plasma sintering(MA-SPS)to fabricate TiAl-Al2O3 in situ.After MA,grain size of nano-powders is less than 25nm,while Al2O3 have effect of mechanical activation,make crystal fine and accelerate nano-process.Through SPS in situ,the nano-material has 3.73 g/cm3 density and two-phase(α2+γ) structure,and its grain size is less than 130nm.

    The effect of heat treatment on microstructures and properties of canned extruded TiAl alloy containing minor Ni was investigated at room temperature and elevated temperature.The results showed that full static recrystallization in(α+γ) phase field occurred to the microstructure of 70% deformation induction extruded alloy,it produced duplex microstructure,and the remnant lamellar structure in extruded alloy was eliminated;after heat treatment at(α2+γ)phase field on extruded TiAl alloy,its yield tensile strength,ultimate tensile strength and plastic elongation were 535,650MPa and 3%;and its yield tensile strength, ultimate tensile strength and plastic elongation at 800℃ were 365,400MPa and 156%,which was suitable for further processing and made superplastic forming possible.

    C/SiC composites were prepared by inner siliconizing process.The strength,matrix composition and microstructure of the composites were investigated by threepiont-bending method,XRD and SEM.The results show that CVD-SiC coating can protect the carbon fibers from attack by melting silicon.The SiC matrix without silicon is made when the molar ratio of C to Si is 10: 9 by controlling the ratio of phenolic resin and silicon powder.The flexural strength and shear strength of the C/SiC composites are 247MPa and 13.6MPa respectively.The failure module of the C/SiC composites exhibit typical toughness fracture module with many pulled-out fibers in the cross-section of the composite fracture specimens,the fracture toughness(KIC)of the composite is 12.1MPa·m1/2.

    The preparation of nano-sized Mn-Zn ferrite powders by liquid phase circumfluence with the activator of Fe2+ at normal pressure was studied.Based on the liquid precursor of ZnSO4·7H2O,FeCl3·6H2O and MnSO4,the powders were synthesized for about 6h.The effects of varying reaction factors such as pH,concentration and activator on component of the powders were also investigated and the conclusions were obtained.The techniques such as XRD,TEM and SEM were used to describe their crystal structure and morphology.The results show that their average diameter of the powders with spherical shape is 4.35 nm and Fe2+ has catalysis on the preparing reaction.A new method of preparing nanosized Mn-Zn ferrite powders was established.

    The effect of N2 partial pressure on the microstructure and mechanical properties of reactively sputtered(Al,Ti)N coatings was studied.A series of(Al,Ti)N coatings were deposited by using Al-Ti composite target in the gas mixed with Ar and N2.The deposition rate,composition and microstructure of the coatings were characterized by EDS,AFM,XRD,TEM and a nanoindentor was used to measure their mechanical properties.The results show that N2 partial pressure has an important effect on the microstructure and properties of(Al,Ti)N coatings.(Al,Ti)N coating with stoichiometric ratio can be easily obtained at suitable N2 partial pressure and the coating have single phase structure,presenting strong(111) texture.It reaches the highest hardness and elastic modulus of 36.9GPa and 476GPa.(Al,Ti)N coatings prepared at lower N2 partial pressure show poor N and Al content and thus have low hardness.At overhigh N2 partial pressure,the deposition rates of the coatings decrease greatly because N2 reacts with the Al-Ti mosaic target and forms nitride layers on the target surface.Under this condition,the composition of the coatings has almost no change,and the coatings show a microstructure of nanocrystalline or amorphous and low hardness.

    Iron base amorphous alloy coatings was synthesized on 0Cr13Ni5Mo stainless steel by high velocity oxy-fuel(HVOF) thermal spraying.The experiment results show that a very high amorphous content iron base amorphous alloy coatings can be fabricated by HVOF thermal spraying.The coatings have homogenous microstructure and contain only a little micro-pores and have typical layer structure.The porosity is only 2.2%.The coatings have high hardness and the average microhardness reaches 1065.0HV50.Furthermore,the amorphous alloy coating exhibits high thermal stability and do not crystallize at temperature under 596.0℃.

    The developments of transparent conductive oxide(TCO) methods are described.Topics focused are magnetron sputtering,pulsed laser deposition,sol-gel,spray pyrolysis and fabrication on flexible substrate.It is put forward that the fabrication methods for TCO thin films should be improved combined with high optical and electrical properties,low fabrication temperature,low cost and good adaptability for integrate circuit.
