Abstract：The microstructure and stress-rupture properties of high strength processed and direct aged GH4169 superalloys are investigated. The relationship of microstructure, stress-rupture properties and thermomechanical processing are discussed. It is found that the most important factors controlling the stress-rupture properties in GH4169 are the grain size, the quantity and distribution of δ phase.
