Abstract：Bismaleimide-glass fibre composite surface is chemically pretreated for subsequent metallization on the surface. The metallization processes include the surface pretreatment, copper electroless plating, copper electroplating, and nickel electroplating. The results of the experiment show that the surface toughening process is very important for the coating quality. Appropriate roughness of the surface, and the improvement for the surface water wettable can promote a good adhesion of the coating on the surface.
