. A Study of phase Transformations and Mechanical Properties During Solid Solution and Aging Treatment of Ti-10V-2Fe-3Al Alloy[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1988, 0(5): 1-5.

The phase transformations of Ti-loV-2Fe-3Al alloy in different conditions of solution treatment, water quenching and air cooling, have been studied in this paper. The experimental results show that the athermal omega phase growes abnormally during air cooling. The dispersity and morphology of secondary alpha precipitates are influnced by the size of athermal omega phase. As a result, the fracture toughness of the alloy is increased by 15 MPa·m1/2 when the aspect ratio of secondary alpha phase is changed from 1:1 to 6:1.

. The Influence of Solid Solution and Aging on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Ti-10V-2Fe-3Al Cast Alloy[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1988, 0(5): 6-9.

Ti-10V-2Fe-3Al cast alloy has a Widmanstatten micro structure. After solid solution treatment and aging, the microstructure of specimen consist of GBap, as and β phase. The microstructure characteristic depends on the ST temperature, cooling speed and aging temperature. The tensile properties of Ti-10V-2Fe-3Ai cast alloy change with the change of heat treatment conditions.

. The Development and Application of Rare Earth in Aeronautical Materials[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1988, 0(5): 10-11,47.

The Ministry of Aviation is one of tne earlist units to develop and apply. RE in our country. As early as in 1950’s, RE was first added to magnesium alloys and found applications in aircraft and engines, such as, skin, casing and other low-loaded components. With the development of RE industry, the application of RE in aviation industry has been diversifying and become wider and wider. Today RE aeronautical materials and products are widely used in attackers, bombers, fighters, helicopters, pilotless planes and civilian aircraft. All these have promoted technical progress and brought economic benefits.

. An Investigation of Plasma Spray of Ceramic Coating on Surface of TC4 Titanium Alloy Artificial Joints[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1988, 0(5): 12-14,38.

A plasma spray process for forming Al2O3 ceramic coating on surface of TC4 ti tanium alloy artificial joints and the structure of phases have heen investigated in this paper. The results show that jet distance of 100mm can obtain highest particles-sprayed speed and melting temperature. At this time, the structure of coating consists mainly of α-Al2O3, and with a few of γ~Al2O3.Various types of TC-4 titaniumalloy artificial joints made by authors method have been used in clinic application.

. The Development, of HYF-14 High Temperature and Corrosion-resistant Protective Coating[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1988, 0(5): 15-17,5.

A corrosion-resistant protetive Coating operating at the temperature range up to 600℃ was developed in this investigation. The coating consists of epoxy-silicon bond, aluminium powder, glass filler and various additives to improve heat stability and corrosion resistance. The coating is superior to the similar products outside China in the following aspects: high heat resistance (600℃) and high corrosion resistances to sea water, hot lubricant oil, fuel, hydraulic fluid and cold methanal. And the other performances of this coating can be compared with similar products outside China.

. The Step Aging of Beryllium Bronze Diaphragm[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1988, 0(5): 18-20.

According to the rule of aging deformation of beryllium bronze, the step ageing process of QBe 1.9 alloy diaphragm has been studied. By using this process, the effect of residual stress on aging deformation can be reduced, and the coincidence between the shape of diaphragm and aging clamp can be effectively maintained. Therefore, the consistent size of diaphragm shape was obtained and hence the rate of qualified product s increased.

. A Failure Analysis on Cracking of Jetfuel Rubber Hose of X-model Aero-engine[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1988, 0(5): 42-45.

Four accidentsdue to failure of jetfuel rubber hose of X-model aero-engine occurred within the period of total specified life time. The structure and inside rubber layer of three failed hose have been analyzed according to specification. The fracture analysis has been also conducted by stereomicroscope and scanning electromicroscope. Results of analysis showed that elongation of all analyzed rubber hoses were lower than normal ones and have various kides of defects. Therefore, it can be concluded that the failures of rubber hose were caused by problem of quality itself.
