Pan Shunqing, Zhou Shufang. The Current Development of Aero Insulation Materials and Our Task[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1990, 0(1): 2-5.

The article discusses the current development of aero insulation materials in three aspects both at home and abroad, and our task. The first part mainly describes the level of epoxy-filling material, fluoropolymer, silicone, polyimide, Nomex and etc., the properties of new products and the production in China. The second part is about the study of the importance and the urgency of the compatibility among the insulation materials and their insulation forming system. The final part deals with the tendency in the study of present aero insulation materials and the fundamental task.

Liu Weiping, Ni Ronggen, Fan Tang. Investigation on Cocuring Technology of TGDDM-DDS/Carbon Fiber Composites[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1990, 0(1): 20-22.

Torsional braid analysis (TBA) using braids made from three stripes of prepreg, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), viscosity measurement, and Infrared spectroscopy (IR) have been used to study the preforming and cocuring characterization of tetraglycidyl 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl methane (TGDDM) epoxy cured with diaminodiphenyl sulfone (DDS), It is a feasible meth od for determining cocuring processing parameters, i.e. the preforming temperature is determined with DSC results and viscosity measurements, and the pressurizing point of cocuring is determined with TBA results.

Su Zuwu, Guo Hongzhen, Zhao Pu,Yang Zhaosu. Effect of Hot Compression Parameters on the Macro-and Microstructures of TC11 Ti Alloy[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1990, 0(1): 30-34.

In this paper, the conventional forging, the isothermal forging and the super-isothermal forging have been studied. The results show that if the method of isothermal forging with the forging heating temperature of 930℃ or 860℃or the method of super-isothermal forging with the temperature of 860℃ and the die temperature of 930℃ is adopted, the pancake will have fine structure, i.e the uniform fine grains and the alpha-bata equiaxed structure.

Zhang Keshun, Zhou Jingyi. Investigation of the Determination of Minor Sulfur in 300M Steel[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1990, 0(1): 41-42,27.

This paper describes the calibration on the apparatus and the analytical method through recovering the chemical pure substance, with the aim of increasing the accuracy of the determination of sulfur content (<20ppm) in 300M steel. And the corresponding interior-controlled standard samples have been researched and manufactured also.

Dai Zhaochen. Determination of Trace Amounts of Bismuth in Superalloys by Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry with Thionalid Separation[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1990, 0(1): 43-44.

This paper describes that thionalid is used as the precipitate to separate the matrix with the result of decrease of the blank of the agents and increase of the precision and accuracy of the determination. The recovery rate of bismuth is 82-106% And the relative standard deviation is 14.3% for 0.000028% bismuth content. The method has been applied successfully to the determination of trace amounts of bismuth in superalloys already.
