    Gong Leiqing. Effect of the Grade of Gas Porosity on the Mechanical Properties of Aluminium Alloy Casting[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1990, 0(4): 3-5.

    The relations of mechanical properties of aluminum alloy casting and the grade of gas porosity are described in this paper. The experiments show that the mechanical properties are linear to the grade of gas porosity, and decreased gradually with the increase of the grade of gas porosity. But the properties are reduced with a narrow range.

    In this paper, the stwdy of the structure and properties of ZZn A127Cu2 alloy (called ZA-27 alloy for short) is made. It is a excellent engineering material, belongs to the series of high strength zinc-aluminium alloy. The paper describes the die casting process of the ZA-27 alloy used for automotive parts, the composition segregation and the iron pollution in the alloy. Especially the paper describes the melting and holding processes of the alloy which are been done by working frequency induction furnace with iron crucible. As a result of the test, a simple and reliable technological process is obtained. It makes the ZA-27 alloy to be used widely in the die casting production of the automotive industry.

    Xu Yanping. Development of a New Casting Aluminium Alloy SFZL-1 and Its Application[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1990, 0(4): 17-20.

    SFZL-1 alloy, which is developed by making orthogonal design experiments and referring to the composition of AC7A-F in Japan criterion JIS H 5202 and the composition of ZL302 in GB 1173-74, is a kind of Al-Mg casting alloy. Because of adding the additional elements of Ti and B simultaneously, the grains are made much finer, so that the synthetic properties of this alloy are advanced. Comparing with the same alloy in the criterion of our country, SFZL-1 alloy has a better corrosion resistance.By applying it to make the parts for the advanced travelling buses, it is indicated that this alloy has a desired processability, economicability and ornamentability, besides its better corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.

A sample showing the procedures of building a curing model for 976 epoxy resin used as the matrix of carbon fiber composites is presented. This model is useful and helpful in selecting the cure parameters for both 976 epoxy resin and its composites.

    The electron micrographic images of two different deformations of MP-159 alloy were observed by TEM, A strengthening mechanism was formed by the network of extremely thin hep platelets and the twins in cold worked alloy. Because of the closely spaced, the intersecting network was developed within each grain, and the movement of dislocations over the large distances would become extremely difficult. This mechanism is explained as a high strength.

    During the 15,000km road test run, four wheel hubs of 750 model side car broke up one after another. Through experiments and analysis proposed in this paper, we concluded out that the crack of wheel hubs is caused by the unsuitable heat treatment as well as the too small flange corner which result in fatigue of multi-sources in test run.
