Sun Shoujin, Zhang Mingda. Copper Matrix Composites Prepared by Cu-Fe Coated Carbon Fibers[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1991, 0(1): 21-24.

Carbon fibers were coated with copper prior to with iron by continuous electroplating to form Cu-Fe duplex coating. The high temperature compatibility of carbon fiber with Cu-Fe coating has been studied. CF/Cu-Fe composites were fabricated with Cu-Fe coated carbon fibers by hot-press. The electrical resistivities, flexural strengthes and linear thermal expansion coefficients of CF/Cu-Fe composites were measured.

The changes of microstructure of 30CrMnSiNi2A steel after isothermal quenching from various austenitizing temperatures have been studied by using TEM in this paper. It has been found that the retained austenite films between martensite lath got thicker with the increasing of austenitizing temperature. The experimental results show that a small peak can be expected for tensile strength of the steel austenitized at 920℃ and the yield strength shows no significant change below 960℃.

Bu Mingquan. Manufacture of High Strength Cast Zinc-Base Alloy[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1991, 0(1): 34-37.

This article has made an approach on the influence of chemical composition, and heat treatment process of high strength cast zinc-base alloy to the mechanical properties and metallography structure. In the meantime, on the basis of the test compared with ZSn-6-6-3 friction abrasion property, it has been got out that the alloy is a good abrasion-resistant material, it may take the place of tin-bronze to make abrasion-resistant parts, and there is great practical value and applied potentiaty in the industrial production.

A new concept of directionally solidified superfine column structure is put out after a brief review of the relations between solidification microstructures, properties of solidified materials and solidification parameters. And futher research has been done on the superfine column structures of directionally solidified Ni-5(wt)% Cu alloy and a cobalt base K10 superalloy by using the newly developped ZMLMC directional solidification equipment which has a superhigh temperature gradient.

The Co-P plating on the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate is prepared by using autocatalytic plating method. The effect of phosphorus content on property of plating has been investigated. The experiments show that the coercive force, hardness and corrosion resistance are increased along with the increase of phosphorus content in Co-P plating.

The crack growth data in corrosive environments were compared with the crack growth data in lab air. The results showed the significant effects of various environments on the fatigue crack growth. The interactions of aggressive environments with fatigue loads caused the accelerations of fatigue crack growth rates in aluminium alloys LY12-CE and LC4-CS. Among the environments tested the most detrimental one was salt water, which was followed by fog, fog+SO2, and moist air. Compared with alloy LY12-CZ, Alloy LC4-CS was much more susceptible to the environments tested. And the resistance to fatigue crack growth was reduced substantially in corrosive environments.
