    The effects of smelting process, deformation type, deformation rate and homogenizing process of the ingot on high temperature ductility of a Fe-based superalloy have been studied in this paper. The high temperature ductility and crack initiation during the forging test of cast specimen have been compared with that of rolled specimen as well.

    Zhang Guoqing, Zhang Rongwu, Yang Yurong, Zhao Yuxin. The Microstructure of Two Premium Quality GH4169 Superalloy and Its Effect on Stress-rupture Properties[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1991, 0(6): 13-15.

    The microstructure and stress-rupture properties of high strength processed and direct aged GH4169 superalloys are investigated. The relationship of microstructure, stress-rupture properties and thermomechanical processing are discussed. It is found that the most important factors controlling the stress-rupture properties in GH4169 are the grain size, the quantity and distribution of δ phase.

    Shi Tuo, Jin Rongfu, Cai Qiongying, Ju Jia. Heat-Decomposition Dynamics and Life Forecast of Epoxy Acrylate[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1991, 0(6): 16-18.

    The appliance dynamic temperature-weight analyse (TG) method, the heat decomposition reaction dynamics of epoxy acrylate (EPA(Ⅰ)) and EPA(Ⅱ) systems have been investigated by using dynamic techniques of TG. The overall apparent activation energies for the heat-decomposition have been found to 62.22 kJ/mol and 65.58 kJ/mol for EPA(Ⅰ) and EPA(Ⅱ) systems. The heat decomposition reaction dynamics equation of EPA(Ⅰ) and EPA(Ⅱ) systems have been obtained. The paper forecast the heat-resisting using life of EPA(Ⅰ) and EPA(Ⅱ) systems.

    According to the basic principle of microwave transmission line, a multilayer type absorbing material XFT which has a particular structure and good absorbing properties has been developed. For the Submarine application, a series of mechanical and enuironmental experiments have been made. The radar cross section (RCS) of a done model is reduced obviously.

    In this paper, some technical key problems of LID bonding are mainly discussed, and the optimized process variables are suggested. As a result, a brittless and equal-strength joint of high quality has been obtained with fine-grain and homogeneous microstructure. Finally, the sine-form corrugate sheets of Ti-6A1-4V have been successfully bonded.

    Ma Yongqing, Guan Delin, Yang Daozheng, Wan Lijun. Study on Multiple Modification of Rare Earth Aluminium Alloy[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1991, 0(6): 27-29,2.

    The multiple modification of the rare earth Al alloy by Na three-component modifier with the addition of B4C is investigated. The results show that the microstructure and mechanical properties are improved much more than that by Na three-component modifier or B4C respectively. The effective modification times can be extended over 2.5 hours. The mixture of two modifiers dosnt't change the mehanism of both modifiers. Obviously, the modification effect is intensified by combined influence of both modifiers.

    Based on the determination of surface resistance, alternative impedence, X-ray diffraction analysis and etc., we have proved that the corrosion product is a protective film composed of aluminum compound with densitive structure and low electrical conductivity, which may act as barrier to further attack.

    Mao Xinfu. Nitriding of an Ammonia-Nitrogen Agent of 38CrMoAl and 4Cr14Ni14W2Mo Steel Parts for the Aviation Industry[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1991, 0(6): 34-37,18.

    This paper deals with the influence of the nitriding process by using an ammonia or ammonia-nitrogen agent on the composition, microstructure and mechanical properties in the nitrided case of the steel parts. The results show that the nitriding process by using an ammonia-nitrogen agent can improve the atmosphere in the furnace. It is beneficial for the diffusion of crystal, and the inhibition of the diffusions of phase transformation and grain boundary. Therefore, the nitrogen content in the solid solution is increased, the nitrides with higher nitrogen content are decreased. All these bring the reduction of the brittleness and the avoidance of the cracks. Thus, the economic benefit has been obtained obviously.

    This paper deals with the fundamental properties and the characteristic of heat treatment process of moderate temperature high strength double phase Cr-Ni stainless steel OCrl6Ni6. The results show that cold treatment is the main strengthing method of the material and subsequent temper can further improve the strength.

    The characteristics of dynamic mechanical measurement is quick and non-destructive. Especially, the frequency spectra as well as the temperature spectra can be obtained simultaneously by dynamic mechanical method, which makes it possible to investigate the cure reaction mechanism on the basis of investigating macroscopic dynamic mechanical character of the composites, so that the quality of curing technology can be effectively determined. In this paper, the effect of curing condition of glass-fabric/epoxy composites on dynamic mechanical parameters has been investigated by using forced vibration non-resonance means. The results show that the dynamic mechanical parameters have good correlation with the curing technology.

    The test deviation distribution and remarkable influence factor to the method of the test of liquid resistance of GB1690 vulcanized rubber are discussed based on a lot of tests and statistical analysis. It is found that the use of. sealed steel oil-cup is the main reason for the big test deviation and worse repeatability.

    Xu Fenghe. Failure Analysis of Canopy for 700732# Aircraft[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1991, 0(6): 49-51.

    The failure reason of the canopy was analyzed by the method of fracture surface analysis, infrared spectrum, electron probe, energy spectrum and mechanical testing. The results show that it is the force by some object that lead to the rupture of the acrylic plastics.
