This paper discusses the general development of the changing-performance-treatment of material sur-face by laser with special attention on the use of Nd:glass pulse laser. The performances of heat treatmentand its application result on type MG-1 Nd:glass laser are given.
Mei Dun, Temuerfu, Zhang Li. Effects of Rare-earth Element on the Structure and the Abrasion Resistance of Alloy Powder Spray Welding Coating[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1993, 0(3): 9-12.
In this paper, the results show that rare-earth element can lead up to the diminution and even disap-pearance of the bright field and arborescent structure in the spray welding coating. The distribution and formation of metullic-compound (dissociation) can makes the hardness of spray welding coating increase andreduce, but it makes the wear resistence increase.
Sun Fusheng, Zhang Rongshun. Investigation on a Near α Titanium Alloy Ti-8Al-1Mo-1V[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1993, 0(3): 13-17.
In this paper, the melting and heat treatment processes of a near α titunium alloy Ti-8Al-1 Mo-1 Vhave been studied. The experiment result shows that equiaxed microstructure demonstrates good strength andductility at either room or elevated-temperature, as well as a moderate creep resistance and good toughness. The overall property of basket-weave and bimorphlogy microdructure is second to that of equiaxed mi-crostructure.Although the aligned microstructure exhibits the excellent creep resistance,it has very poor duc-tility and toughness.
Liu Bochang. Investigation on Transducer Material Used for Exciting Motor[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1993, 0(3): 18-20.
This article researches to use the method of horizontal continuous casting to produce 0.06~0.10% Ag--Cu alloy wirebars, which can be drawn 15mm diameter into small I-shaped material through 12drawing passes. There are 45ppm content of oxygen, electrical conductivity (IACS)>97%, ball hardnessHB =103~107, yield strength σb≥460N/mm2, softening temp.(t℃) >280℃ and high temp.strength (290℃) 27~28N/mm2.It is an ideal material of exciting motor transducer.
