The crosslinking of polytheretherketone (PEEK) caused by melt-treated in air and its uncrystallineeffect have ben studied.Good resistance to solvent is a characteristic of crosslinking,which in related toortho-position substitution in beneylene ring.The crosslinking cause a decrease of crystallization rate andcrystallinity,and a variation of crystalline morphology and unit cell.

Effect of heat treatment on age hardness characteristic of SiCw/Al-Li composite were systematicallyinvestigated.It was indicated that ageing response of Al-Li alloy is accelerated because of the incorporationof the SiC whisker.The SiCw/Al-Li composite reaches peak hardness in 6 hours on the ageing temperatureof 19O℃.The peak ageing hardness can be increased by increasing solution temperature.Solution timehas no obvious effect on peak hardness of the composite.

The relationship of the compression strength and shear strength with the temperature of nomex honeycomb are emphatically discussed in this paper.The investigation results show that both compression strengthand shear strength decrease with the increasing of the temperature,but the profiles are different.The compression strength decreases rapidly at the beginning and then decreases slowly with the temperature increase.However,shear strength always keeps a slow decreasing.

A specific direct ageing treatment technique used for precipitation hardened nickel-base superalloys isintroduced in This paper.this technique can greatly increase the yield strength and tensile strength of nickelbase superalloy GH33A.The result demonstrates that the specific direct ageing treated GH33A has highstrength approaching the strength levle of Inconel718.Because of adding presolution treatment,the significant strengthening can be achieved for GH33A at high forge temperature,and some defects in usual DAtreatment to low forge temperature can be overcome.
