    This paper pointed out that the main duties of development Center of aeronautical materials,special technologies and physical-chemical-mechnical properties measure ment&test(including nondestructivetest)in the Aviation Industries of China(AVIC)are summarized into three fields which include profession management,profession technical development and service trades.Recently the research center is going toorganize the scientists,Engineers and technical cares in AVIC to compile a development program of aeronau-tical materials sciences and technologies for the “95”national plan and the initiation of next century,ex-change concerning the seiences and technologies,evaluate the physical-chemical-mechnical properties mea-surement & test organizations and promote their staff′s level,so that they could hold a card for operationwhen they take on their posts and etc.

    Preparation principles of inorganic membrane are introduced in this paper.Composite inorganic mem-branes with different properties can made to meet different applicatian purposes by modifying membranematrices with sol-gel and electroless plating techniques.The film film deposition theories and process control parametets of these two kinds of techniques are described in detail.

    Qin Zirui, Li Longsheng, Yuan Deli, Guo Shan, Gao Wenhua. The Investigation on the Cast Sast Stainless Steel KM-1 with Micro-Duplex Structure[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1994, 0(3): 20-.

    In this research work,the structure and chemical composition of cast stainless steel eith micro-duplexstructure used for high-temperture alkili with solid grains was designed.The micro-structure was studied bymeans of metallurgical microscope and X-ray diffraction.And the corrosion-resistance of steel was studiedby the test of well-distributed corrosion,electrochemical corrsion,intergranular corrosion as well as gringcorrosion and so on.The results of the experiments and try running at the testing ground show that KM-1 cast stainless steel with micro-duplex structure has abetter corrsion resistence in the environment of high-temperature alkili with solid grains.The pump made of KM-1 raises life-span about one time than the pump made of 316 steel.In addtion,KM-1 stainless steel has also better casting behaviours.

    Yang Zhonglin. The Effect of Silicon to Inhibit“Oxidation Notch”in Coating[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1994, 0(3): 34-37.

    The high temperature oxidation performances of the aluminized coating and aluminium-silicon coatinghas been examined.The microstructures of the coating are investigated by metallograph and electron probeanalysis techiques.It is revealed that the“Oxidation notch”is inhibited in Al-Si coating with the following reasons:the internal-diffusion activity of aluminium is reduced by silicon,so that the external-diffusion activity of nickel increased relatively,and a very thin layer is formed at the outside surface of alloy.Itavoids direct expose of MC carbide;the silicon has promoted MC→Si-rich M6C transform and improved oxidation resistanc of carbide in coating.

    In this paper, the behaviours of corrosion fatigue crack growth for GC-4、300M and 30CrMnSiNi2 Ahigh strength steels were studied.The effects of different environments,heat treatments,stress rates andfrequencies were considered.The results show that there is a significant effect of corrosion environmentsand heat treatments on the fatigue crack growth.In corrosion environment,with frequency decreases,thecrack propagation rate increases evidently,with the stress rate increasing,the influence of environment isenhanced greatly.The morphologies of specimen fractures were analysed by SEM,and corrosion fatiguemechanism of high strength steels was discussed.

    Zhong Weichang. The“Abnormal Indication”of Acoustic Resistance Inspection in Small Pit Areas on the Surface of Metal Honeycomb Adhesive Bonded Structure[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1994, 0(3): 42-44.

    This paper explains the phenomenon of“abnormal indication”of acoustic resistance inspection (ARI) in small pit areas on the surface of metal honeycomb adhesive bonded structure by the theory of mechanical vibration.It indicates that the Young′s modulus,Poisson′s ratio,thickness and radius of ARI“Equivalent Disc”in small pit areas have been changed,so the“Equivalent Spring Constant”(ESC)of the workpiece with small pit areas is probably the same of ESC for the workpiece with faulty bonded areas.And ARI signal depends on the ESC of the workpiece,so the indication of these two conditions are the same.Exceptthose techniques,which must be added to the inspection for small pit areas,the author proposes that firstof all to try to exchange the exciting frequency of rod of ARI,because this method probably can distinguish the difference of these two conditions.

    In this paper,it has been discovered by checking the quality of the welding seam and metallographicalanalyzing,the cracks on the WP-13F jet engine are stress slack cracks.
