    Shi Tuo. A Study on Properties of PSF/CaCO3 Composite Material[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1994, 0(5): 5-6.

    The PSF/ CaCO3 composite has been developed by means of twin-screw extruder. The relation of the composition and proporties of PSF/CaCO3 has been also investigated.It is shown that some mechanical and thermal properties of PSF/CaCO3 are better than PSF resin.

    The study had been carried out on the effects of various technological parameters on the proporties of aluminum alloy matrix composites with discontineous reinforcements, produced by powder metallurgical method. The results showed that hot extrusions could improve the structures and propotties of composites to alarge degree. The optimum heat treatment parameters are not the same as those for controlled matrix al-loys. The main factors which influenced the ageing dynamics of composite matrix were analyzed.

    The effects of annealing treatmnt on the rcom temporature bending strength,deflection,microstruc-ture,phase structure and fractograph for (Ti-34Al)-0.5Sb (wt.%)alloy have been investigated.Ithas been found by the test that the microstructures were not changed and the mechanical properties of TiAl+Sb alloy remained higher values,annealed at the temperature lower than 1000℃,which exhibites thatthe alloy is adopted to be high temperature structure material.

    The anti-corrosion performance of LB733 aluminum alloy in marine atmosphere has been introduced in this paper,it belongs to anticorrosion high strength alloy.The specimens of this alloy were exposed for ten years at Qing Dao marine atmosphere test station,except pitting corrosion,there isn’t any intergranular corrosion,exfoliation corrosion and stress corrosion.After ten years exposure the U.T.S (ultimate tensile strength)still meets the specification requirements of this alloy.With the respect to the U.T.S loss,elongation loss,weight loss and the rate of weight loss,LB733 alloy is superior to LY12(2024)alloy apparently. In the mechanical propeties,it is better than the 6061 alloy.6061 alloy is used on the inner and upper structures of ships massively.Test results show LB733 alloy has high corrosion resistance in marine atmo-sphere, it is a stiporior structure material for water-plane and marine aircraft.

    In this papor,current die forging technololgy of titanium alloy TC-11 blade has been analyzed. The authors propose that extrudirig and upsetting are used for precise prefabrication,and constant load precision forging technology with mechanical press is used for precision forging blades to reform current conventionaldie forging technology of titanium alloy blade.

    In the present poper,the eperimental principle and metnod for determining the new fracture toughness-the crtiical void growth ratio VGC is recommend summarilyt.The equation to estimate the meaurement error of fracture toughness VGC is derived and empolyed to analyse the maximum relative error of VGC in actual test.The VGC data for more than ten states of materials are presented,and then the correlations of the new fracture toughness VGC with the conventional mechanical properties and the toughness JIC are also dis-cussed.

    his paper presents an investigation of the surface longitudinal cracking in the magnetic screen.It isshown that the surface cracking is caused by the stress corrosion cracking. The presence of the greater resid-ual tensile stress induces the stress corrosion cracking in the course of the acid pickling.There is no longitu-dinal surface caracking in the course of acid pickling after the stress reliving annealing.

    mart materials and structures are the high technology developed by advanced countries in the 80’s.Smart structures are formed by sensors,actuators,electro-optical devices and micro-processors etc.embed-ded in the compeite structures. Due to their singular functions and potential application,smart structures have become a topic of expanding interest for experts and engineers from aero-space industry.Recent devel-opments and applications of smart materials and structures in various countries,compositions and production methods of smart structures are presented in the article.Finally,the problems and suggestions which need to be solved in the future development are also described.
