    This article presents application of a mathematical prediction model to T300/4211 composites. Combining results of natural aging experiments in various climatic conditions and results of accelerated aging experiments,the degration in mechanical properties of material under long term service (15 years and 30 years) is predicted,and life-time of structure is estimated.The result would be basis in evaluating the reliability for CFRP parts of aircraft.

    Al-2.15Li-1.28Mg-1.26Cu-0.10Zr alloy was produced by spray deposition processing,and its microstructure and tensile properties in various aging condition have been investigated. The exporimental results show that grains in the tested alloy are “brick-like” in morphology,and no oxide particles have been found at the grain boundaries. δ'particles with irregular shape and“δ'-β'” co-precipitates deposit in the aged alloy,S' particles precipitate homogeneously at the dislocations within the grains. The spray depoited alloy gets to the poak age condition while aged at 190℃ for 20 hours and obtains the best propertites(σb =520MPa,σ0.2 = 420MPa,δ=12%).Compared with RSPM Al-Li alloy,ductility of the tested alloy has been improved obviously while comparable tensile strength is maintained.

    Fatigue fracture lifetimes of Ti3 Al (NbMoV) alloy under two different heat treatment have been determined in cyclic load-controlled tests at 700℃ and 1 Hz with a constant maximum stress. It is found that tests at higher mcan stress levels caused creep induced damage,resulting in the inversion of the S-N curves. At corresponding stress amplitude,specimens solutionized in β singlephase field exhibited the higher creep-fatigue resistance than that in two-phase field.These macroscopic properties are closely related to steady strain rate and microscopic fracture characteristics.

    The microstructure of mechanically processed Fe71.3Al28.4 (CeO2) 0.3 and Fe73.3 Al9.8Si16.6 (CeO2) 0. 3 alloys was studied by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy.The results show that α-Fe solution has formed with the increase of milling time,and its lattice parameter or effective crystallite size will get stable after 72h milling time.

    The processing of SiCp/Cu composite by composite plating has been investigated, The results show that it is available that the particle-reinforced composite is produced by the method of composite plating.The 20vol% SiCp/Cu composite can be obtained in the case of 15% SiC concentration in the plating bath,4A/dm2 and 15~20℃.

    Effect of shot peening on the fatigue strength under rotating bending condition was investigated with 300M steel.The result shows that the fatigue crack of the specimens with an appropriate shot peening condition intiates in the subsurface and the critical stress to initiate the crack (internal fatigue limit) is about 1.39 times of the fatigue limit of the corresponding unpeened speccmen (Surface fatigue limit).

    In this paper,the method is proposed for the determination of Cr, Ni, Zn, Cu and Cd in industrial waste water by ICP-AES. Satisfactory results are obtained for the determination of standard water samples and samples of industrial waste water by using of this method,and economic benefit and social benefit have been obtained.

    In this article,a theoritical. method was provided for quantitatively calculating the alloys yield strength according to the chemical composition and microstructure parameter.The yield strength in room tempareture of a group of Ni-base alloys was calculated by this method,The value from calculation conformed to the value from measurement quite well.

    The performance of U.K cold dewatering oil、hot dewatering oil and TS type dewatering oil developed by our institute has been st udied. The test results have showed that an ability of water displacement and corrcaion protection of nonferrous metals of the TS typo dewatering oil is more advanced than that of U.K ones. In this paper a methlxl of climbing up test for dewatering oil was introduced. A series of tests for the TS type oil have been studied with this method and proved that TS typo oil has high climbing up ability.

    It is important to give up correctly dubious data in fatigue testing of materials.It affects truth of fatigue property and rationalization of data process. A program on computer for Chauvenet Criterion (a mathematical method to abandon dubious data) is introduced in this paper.At the same time,man-made interference is inserted. So it not only accord with the Chauvenet Criterion,but also is flexible in applieation.

    In experimental determination of the oil resistivity of the unidirectional laminate and the laminate with different orientation has been conducted in this paper.The results show that the oil resistance of T300/5405 is more strong than that of T300/8911, and the oil resistance of the laminate with different orientation is more superior than the unidirectional laminate.

    his article analyzes the corrosion characteristics and mechanism of shape LY12CZ. Integrating the maintenance experience,the repair method and corrosion control of the corrosive damage area in the shape LY12CZ structural components is presented,and is applied in the practical engineering maintenance with a gfor corrosion control effect.
