Li Zongxia. Mechanical Alloying-Advanced Technique for Developing Metallic Materials[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1995, 0(11): 3-7.

The technique characteristic is introduced in this paper. Some new alloys and particular properties which are difficult to obtain by a conventional method may be available when mechanical alloying technique is utilized, such as producing ODS alloys and dispersion strengthened composites, exending solid solubility of alloying element in matrix, obtaining amorphous alloys (metallic glass), synthesizing intermetallic materials and obtaining nano-crystalline materials. Mechanical alloying is a new technique deserving to be developed in research on metallic materials.

Zhou Lishan. The Effects of Electromagnetic Parameters of Radar Absorbing Materials on Optimizing Design Results of Electric Properties[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1995, 0(11): 17-21.

The measured results of εr and μr of 4 radar absorbing materials is given, and a comparison between the optimizing calculated value of electric properties and the measured value is made, electric properties of radar absorbing materials evaluted by means of measured results of εr and μr is discussed. The investigation shows that there is a certain difference between the calculated results and the measured results, among them, the dispersion effect and measuring accuracy influences significantly optimizing calculated results of electric properties.

In this paper, the compressive and flexural behavior of Glass/Carbon hybrid laminates with same ply orientation sequence (0/45/-45/90/0/45/-45/90) but different hybrid structure was investigated. The flexural hybrid effect of the multi-directional hybrid laminates (MDHL) was found. Meanwhile, the concept of the flexural hybrid effect coefficient of MDHL was frist proposed. The results would provide scientific evidence for selection material, designing structure and predicting properties of hybrid composites.

This paper reports on the synthetic production of artificial bone-hydroxyapatite and its characteristical properties tests analysis. Many biological tests have proved that material has no toxicity, no stimulative effect,no mutation and no haemolysis. Animal experiments show that it is a promising biomaterial with excellent biocompatibility. 72 osteopathic clinical practises have been applied, and all good results were obtained. It reveals that this pure hydroxyapatite which can be widely applicable for used as bone or teeth substitute is a very stable, high quality new biomaterial.

Yu Jian, Zhong Guoding. Study of Reduction Porosity in Al-SiC Composites[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1995, 0(11): 29-32.

Gases sources which result in porosity in Al-SiC composites have been investigated. Through theoretic model and experiment analysis, we find that gases which are absorbed and entrapped by SiC particles play the key role on porosity in Al-SiC composites. The gases can be classified as G-type and G-type. So the most important approach to reduce porosity is to cut the gas origins and more attention should be paid to gases induced by particles. The Inter-Composite Dilution method based on this idea has been tredi to producelow porosity Al-SiC composites. The results shaw that the porosity in Al-SiC composites produced by this new method declines obviously.

Through the simulant bonding experiment between beam of aluminum alloy and skin of carbon fiber reinforced composite with locating rivets, the deformation form and quantity of the experimental set at high bonding temperature have been discoursed. The influence of the number and location of the rivets on the deformation of the experimental set, and the influence of the deformation on the rivets, also have been analysed and discussed.

In this paper, Content of carbon and alloy element, morphology of martensite both in inside and surpace, and Their affects on properties, which emerge in CD carbured and quenched Crl2MoV steel, are studied by means of TEM and SEM. The observation reveals, although Cr12MoV steel containes high content of carbon and was carburized, both in outside and inside micro.structure exists only multi-martensite, in which dislocation martensite is dominant. The carburized layer is composed of this typo of martensite, retained austenite as well as dispersed fine carbide, which contributes stength and toughness.

Effect of tempering temperature on microstructure and mechanical properties of 16NiCo and 23NiCo secondery-hardening ultrahigh strength steel was studied. The strengthening was mainly attributed to the combination of the delayed dislocation recovery of the martensitic matrix and coherent precipitation of the Mo2C particle. Upon tempering at 430℃,the impact toughness reaches a minimum value. It is caused by cementite at platelets.

The influence of repeated scanning laserglaze on the rapidly solidified microstructure has been studied in this paper. The results show that the segregativity of solute in matrix reduce furtherly after the scanning processing of laserglaze had repeatedly completed, the original carbide MC type of which a size is larger has a developing branches and is plum blossom in shape, and the eutectic carbide MC type of which a size is smaller is waterweeds in shape.According to the theory of thermodynamics and kinetics,it is reason of changing the morphology of carbide that the diffusion of solute atoms has been acted in concert with cooling velocity.
