    Gu Tian, Xu Fuyuan, Zhong Ping, Jin Jianjun, Wang Hongtao. Effect of Tempering Temperature on the Fracture Toughness KIC and the Stress Corrosion Feature KISCC[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1996, 0(1): 13-16.

    The effect of tempering temperature on the fracture toughness KIC and the stress corrosion feature KISCC has been studied.It is found that the influence of tempering temperature on KIC and the impact value ak was similar when the tempering temperatures were lower than 510℃, both KIC and ak behaved martensitic embrittlement.As the temperature higher than 510℃, KIC didn't behave tempering embrittlement, while ak did.Before the peak of secondary hardening the values of KISCC were very low, that was why the secondary hardening steel couldn't be used by tempering before the peak temperature.

    This paper deals with the oxidating characteristics of the nodular iron containing silicon, aluminium and copper.The nodular iron scale consists of Al2O3.Al2O3 in the scale has different resistance to the carbon ion and the oxygen ion spreading in the scale, then the oxidating kinetics curve and scale surface has the different characteristics at the different oxidating temperature.

    Lu Wensheng, Xu Shiyi. A Study of the Microstructure and Properties of 30CrMnSiA and 30CrMnSiNi2A Steel by the Ultrahigh Temperature Quenching[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1996, 0(1): 20-22.

    The paper deals with the relationship between the microstructure and mechanical properties of 30CrMnSiA and 30CrMnSiNi2A steel undergone ultrahigh temperature quenching.The experiment results show that the adoption of ultrahigh temperature quenching at ~200℃ above Ac3 can obtain a thin and uniform lath martensite of microstructure plus residual austenite.By controlling the keeping time of ultrahigh temperature both austenitism and a thin austenite grain can be obtained, and a remarkable rise of its tensite-toughness of this kind of steel can be brought about.Thus it is of great reference value in studying the tensite-toughness of the steel, improving the heat treatment technique.

    The changes of the microstructure and mechanical properities of the GH169 DA isks are studied when the aging at 680℃ is over 500hrs.The phase γ" size will become longer, and the mechanical properties decrease.

    Hou Shue, Dai Lijin, Wang Tianzhen. Fatigue Fracture Behavior in Smooth and Notch Specimens at Different Loads for an Alloy LC9CGS3[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1996, 0(1): 26-28.

    The fatigue fracture behavior of the smooth and notch specimens at the different loads for alloy LC9CGS3 has been analysed by JSM-35 scaning electron microscopy.The results show that the fatigue cracks are developed with the features of the two models(stage Ⅰ to stage Ⅱ), and the area of stage Ⅰ increases markedly with the decrease the stress.

    In this paper, the mechanical properties of domestic glass/epoxy and glass/polyester composites at average strain rates of ~103/s are investigated by the apparatus of SHPB.The modulus of elasticity and the energy absorbing rate under impact compression of these two kinds of materials are obtained.Material basis for the design of a new type of flight protective helmet is provided.

    Zhou Zhuohua, Zhu Beidi. The Study on the Laser Cladding Process and Cracking of Cast Ni-Based Superalloy K3[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1996, 0(1): 32-35.

    Laser cladding process of cast Ni-based superalloy K3 was studied in this paper. Action and influence of original structure of K3 and laser process parameters on the cladding cracks were analyzed.The possibility of repairing of damaged blade by the method of laser cladding was discussed.The results show that the eutectic phase with low melting point and carbide existed in the grain boundary of K3 are the main factors causing the cladding cracks.Higher laser power density and scanning speed could obversely reduce the cracking possibility.

    Xi Shoumou, Hao Libo. Preliminary Examination in the Weight Method Used for Measuring the Chemical Potential of Nitrogen Atmosphere[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1996, 0(1): 36-37.

    The weight method, which is used steel screen for measuring chemical potential of nitrogen atmosphere, was preliminary studied.It is found that the weight method of steel screen can directly measure an actual chemical potential of nitrogen atmosphere, and the results do not obviously differ from that is measured with a chemical analysis. It may be regarded that the weight method of steel screen which is used to measure the chemical potential of nitrogen atmosphere is reliable in situ.

    This paper analyzes perfectly and systematically the breakage failure which has been existing for a long time in the plunger spring of aero-fuel pump.It also presents that the problem of breakage failure can be more throughout solved by the improvement of metallurgical quality of raw material and the traditional plunger spring process, and the application of supersonic to defecting the products flaws.
