    In accordance with the oxidation-reduction electric potential of Nd,which was the composition element of Nd-Fe-B permanent magnetic materials,is comparatively negative(-2.44V),effects of degreasing,producing brightness and immersion plating technologies as well as parameters of the Nd-Fe-B productors were study by the exploration tests.Results indicated that binding intensity between nickel-plating and base metal is prominently enhanced,quality of nickel-plating is improved when plating on defined technology.

    An investigation has been carried out to study the effect of platinum pre-aluminizing diffusion treatment on the structure of Pt-Al coating on M38 Ni-based superalloys. The results indicated that the microstructure of outer layer of Pt-Al coating is strongly dependent on the pre-aluminizing deffusion treatment.A single phase (PtAl2) outer layer was obtained with 850℃/2h platinum pre-aluminizing diffusion treatment,while a double phase (NiAl+PtAl2) was obtained with 1050℃/3h platinum pre-aluminizing diffusion treatment.

    Li Yuren, Wang Tianzhen, Feng Yushu. Relationship between the Heat-Treatment Temperature and the Properties for Rapidly Solidified High Strength Al-Zn-Mg-Cu Alloy[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1996, 0(4): 23-26.

    The relationship between the heat-treatment(quenching and ageing)temperatures and the mechanical properties in RS Al-Zn-MgGu alloys was systematically studied,and the microstructure of alloys was analysed. It is found that the mechanical properties has attained the level of σb=740MPa,σ0.2=702MPa,δ5=10%at470℃ quenching temperature(T6)andσb=633MPa,σ0.2=606MPa,δ5=11.5%at two-stage ageing(T73).The dispersion hardening phases are Co2Al9 and Al3Zr,and the precipitation hardening phases areG.P.zone,η’andηin these alloys.

    Zhang Erlin, Zeng Songyan, Zeng Xiaochun, Li Qingchun. Study on the Process and Phase Constitute of SHS of Al+Ti+C Composite[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1996, 0(4): 27-31.

    The effect of the content of Al and the C/Ti on the process and phase constitute which was prepared by SHS from Al+Ti+C composite has been studied.It was shown that the reaction temperature decreased and the reaction time extended with the increasing of the content of Al,but the reaction start temperature had little change.There was a great effect of C/Ti on the reaction time and reaction temperature,but little effect on the reaction start temperature.During the study on the phase constitute,it was found that when C/Ti=1.25,Al≤60at% and C/Ti=1.0,Al≤50at%,there was only a synthetic of TiC,the content of Al3Ti increased with the increasing of the content of Al,and the change of the actual free energy of Al3Ti,TiC,Al4C3 with C/Ti and Al content have been calculated via ternary dilute solution,the results agreed well with the experimental results.In addition,the micrography of TiC produced by SHS has been investigated by SEM.It was shown that the size of TiC was about 0.3~0.8μm,and the morphology was spherical.

    Ding Hao, Fu Hengzhi, Liu Zhongyuan, Luo Suanzhu. Influence of Casting Temperature on Hot Cracking of Directionally Solidified Al-Cu Alloys[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1996, 0(4): 32-33,47.

    Hot cracking experiments were carried out for Al-0.6wt%Cu and Al-2.0wt%Cu alloys in a directional solidification device.The results show that the hot cracking tendency can be decreased by raising casting temperature for Al-0.6wt% Cu alloy.However,the casting temperature had no effect on hot cracking of Al-2.0wt% Cu alloy.Cooling curves for hot cracking test pieces were measured in directional solidification process under different casting temperatures.The solidification analysis on shot cracking proved that hot cracking was influenced by the cooling rate of alloy under uncompensated stage of solidification process.

    Liu Shixing, Tian Shixing, Chen Changqi. Mechanical Properties and Fracture Mechanism of 705O Aluminum Alloy Forgings[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1996, 0(4): 34-37.

    Both the tensile property and fracture toughness of 7050 forgings were measured,and the fracture mechanism was also studied.The results showed that the fracture mode was ductile transgranular in the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (L),but mainly intergranular,with a little transgrannlar in the cross section parallel to the longitudinal direction.

    The basic principle of the hollow cathode discharge spectral analysis is described.The feature of HCD-1 hollow cathode light source associating power supply which has been developed by BIAM is recommended and the application to analyse the tracer impurity elements in the high temperature alloys is introduced.
