In this paper,the cost,properties and castability of DD3single crystal alloy had been evaluated.The results show that DD3single crystal alloy has excellent mechanical properties equivalent to that of PWA1 480 single crystal alloy.The casting test exhibited the excellent single crystal castability of DD3.The single crystal turbine blades of DD3alloy can be produced at low cost.So DD3is an applicable single crystal superalloy for turbine blades in aeroengines.

Directionally solidified superalloy DZ125has been developed for new type aeroengine turbine blades.It possesses high strength and ductility at intermediate and high temperature,in particular,excellent castability and less thin-wall effect.This superalloy may be used for DS hollow blades with complex internal passages.

A high-strength thin-wall shell mould for casting of directionally solidified and single crystal blade has been developed.The new mould has uniform thickness of about 3~6mm and high strength of 4~6MPa at 1500℃.In this study,the increasing high-temperature strength has been achieved by means of adding a mineralizer of Al-Si-Mg system into the alumina slurry.The rheological behavious of the slurry was researched in order to improve the uniformity of mould wall thickness.It can serve at1 600℃ during directional solidification.

DD2 single crystal superalloy is first generation single crystal superalloy with good comprehensive property.This alloy has excellent oxidation resistant,tensile strength and creep strength.After longterm ageing in 850℃、900℃ and 1000 h、2000 h、3000 h,the TCP phase has not been appeared in alloy DD2 and keep good hightemperature creep strength.

The first domestic fine grain casting vacuum furnace has been developed successfully by Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials.By use of this furnace,the K418 alloy fine grain blades of grain size in the ASTM 3~5range can be obtained by controlling casting thermal parameters,and under conventional pour temperature condition,the K 418alloy integral turbine wheel which grain size of hub and spoke is in the ASTM M11.5~ ASTM3 range can be obtained by adopting mould stir process.Compared with conventional,low cycle fatigue life of the fine grain castings of K418 alloy at 600℃ can be increased by 3times at least.

The phase constituent of four SiCp/Al composites and its distribution within an interface region was examined with XRD and TEM.These composites have been manufactured by the vaccum-assisted gas pressure infiltration.New phases have been appeared in interfacial zone of composites,which is resulted by interface reaction.The interface reaction is discussed by the thermodynamics and kinetics.It is pointed that the reaction can be controlled by adding alloying elements to matrix in order to improve composites properties.

The electrochemical parameters of hot-dip Al-Zn alloy coating of different alloying components have been measured in several mediums.Two samples contained 5% and 55% aluminium have a good corrosion-resistance.The results show that the relation between corrosion-resistance and aluminium content of alloy is not linearly.

The technique of continuous casting of single crystal metals (CCSC) is a new type near-net-shape processing.It combines the advanced unidirectional solidification with the high efficiency continuous casting.Its product-single crystal metal wires,has the characteristics of smooth surface and high inner quality.There are no casting defects such as shrinkage,porosity and impurities.This paper introduces the principle of CCSC and the self-made horizontal continuous casting equipment,studies the casting process to gain a single crystal Al wire with 8mm in diameter and discusses the mechanical and electrical properties of the single crystal Al wire.

The effects of preheating temperature of granules,pouring temperature of melt and forming pressure on the forming process of penetrating casting of foam Al-alloys around granules were systematically studied using orthogonal experiment method and choosing three kinds of the granules size and the experimental results were theoretically analysed.It is considered that the reasonable selection of granules preheating temperature is a prerequisite to produce the foam metal castings,proper increase of pouring temperature is a key to achieve the homogeneous foam construction and the moderate forming pressure can increase the product porosity and technological stability.

The weight method which is used steel foil for measuring chemical potential of nitrogen atmosphere was further studied.It was found that the concentration of nitrogen in the steel foil was balanced with atmosphere when the steel foil of 0.05mm in the thickness nitriding for minutes,that the chemical potential of nitrogen atmosphere was straight line relation with the decompose ratio of ammonia atmosphere when the nitriding at 510℃.

An experimental study of the method determined trace yttrium in titanium alloys by using ICP-AES has been conducted.The measurable range of this technique is w(Y) = 0.05%~0.0025%,the relative error is less than ±10%,the relative standard deviations are less than 5%.This method has been characterized by operating handy and analysing quickly,and the results are obtained satisfactorily.
