    The fabric reinforced polypyrrole composites can be rapidly prepared by vapor phase polymerization.The composites have electrical condutivities as high as 1~5 Sm-1. when the polypyrrole concentrations superior to 2.3wt%,and excellent conductive stability at ambiant conditions because the vapor phase polymerized polypyrrole is a thin layer around the fabric fiber.

    Chu Shuangjie, Wu Renjie. Study of Interface Microstructure of Cf/Al-4.5Cu Composites[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1998, 0(6): 17-19,22.

    In the paper,Cf/Al-4.5Cu composites was fabricated by squeeze cast method,and then the interfacial microstructures of Cf/Al-4.5Cu composites have been studied by TEM.Experimental results show that there were CuAl2 and Al4C3 phase on the interface of Cf/Al-4.5Cu composites,the shape of Al4C3 phase showed as the stick-like,and the shape of CuAl2 phase respectively showed as the pillar-like,chunk-like and slice-like.When the composites was cooled from elevated temperatures of processing,misfit strains occurred due to differential thermal contraction at the Cf/Al-4.5Cu interface which were sufficient to generate dislocations in the matrix and CuAl2 phase.Cf/Al-4.5Cu composites possessed the typical character of the interface reacted slightly,suitable interface reaction would be conductive to improve the mechanical properties of the composites,but the produced CuAl2 phase on the interface would be harmful to the properties of the composites.

    The damping capacity of SiCp/LY12 composite was high at elevated temperature and was better than that of Al alloy.With increasing of volume fraction of SiC particles in the composite,its damping capacity was increased gradually.Both of dislocation damping and interface damping were the main contributors to damping mechanism in the composite.

    The effect of different amounts of rare earth element yttrium on the microstructure of the directionally solidified Ni3Al base alloy IC6 was studied with scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The oxidation resistance of the alloy with different amounts of yttrium was tested at 1100℃,the results showed that the oxidation resistance of alloy IC6 was substantially improved by adding proper amounts of yttrium.

    Zhao Xihong, Tan Yongning, Yu Qian. The Investigation of Microstructrue and Properties of K77 Alloy[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1998, 0(6): 26-28.

    The effect of different heat treatment on microstructure and properties of K77 alloy was investigated.The results show that proper increasing of solution temperature can improve the stress-rupture life of the alloy.The properties of the alloy in the experiment are better that of Rene77in U.S.A.It is also discover that the microstructure stability is good,the change of distance (λ) between γ′and size (a)of γ′is not apparent and the carbide reaction MC+γ→M23C6+γ′restraints the lower of the properties.

    In this paper,optical microscope,X-ray diffraction analysis and several kinds of corrosion test methods are applied to investigate the microstructure and corrosion behaviour of Mo-containing high silicon cast iron.Influence of the heat treatment on the corrosion behaviour is emphatically studied.Experimental results show that,Mo-containing high silicon cast iron possesses good corrosion resistance in concentrate hydrochloric acid of 36% HCl at 50℃,and better electrochemical corrosion resistance and higher pitting corrosion resistance.Although Fe2Si phase is raised in high silicon cast iron after heat treatment,its corrosion resistance and mechanical properties is increased.

    The changes in the morphology and phase composition of the ceramic layer of EB-PVD thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) after thermal shock and cyclic oxidation tests were observed and analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDXS).The effects of the growth mode and phase composition of the ceramic layer on the durability of TBSs were investigated.

    CuNiIn soft film and Cr-N hard film were deposited on titanium alloys by ion-beam-assisted deposition.CuNiIn film provides satisfactory lubrication properties for titanium alloy and Cr-N film protects the substrate by maintaining integrity at both room temperature and 500℃.

    In this paper,WC/Cu(Cu-Cr) composite material were manufactured by the method of powder metallurgy cold isostatic pressing-sintering-heat extrusion.The materials possesed uniform microstructure and better properties.The number of points in continuoas welding of composite resistance welding electrades are higher than Cu-Cr-Zr alloy which is used widely today.

    In this paper,the damage characteristics of two types of continuous fiber reinforced composites(SiC/Al and C/Al) during tensile deformation have been studied by means of AE(acoustic emission)technique,including the measurement of the AE parameters such as events,amplitude and duration,the Felicity effect and AE characteristics under constant load.It indicates that the damage characteristics of the composites are affected greatly by fiber type and interfacial state.The research proved that the AE technique is a potential means for evaluating the damage characteristics of such kinds of composites.
