    Mechanical alloying has been used to synthesize NiAl-TiC composite.Alloying process,reaction mechanism,effect of milling time on particle size and grain size as well as the effect of composition on the incubation time of the reaction have been investigated.Compressive test has been conducted on the compacted materials.

    In the present paper, the isothermal forging processes for P/M FGH95 disk were simulated by using large rigid-viscoplastic finite element method(FEM). The effects of press modes and ratio of height to diameter of the ingot on the forging process were analyzed.

    CAO Shoude. Anticorrosive and Seal-Protective Process for Integral Fuel Tank[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1999, 0(6): 13-16.

    The seepage of the integral fuel tank was caused by that the metal parts of the integral fuel tank were corroded and property of the polysulfide sealant descended. According to aforesaid reasons, we used new type anticorrosive paint primer H06-1012H to cooperate well with protectseal paint HM501 during making integral fuel tank process, and studied technical parameter of construction in aforesaid condition. The results show that it obtained good technical result and notably raised making level of aircraft.

    The peel strength of coupon for adhesive bonding production with SY-14 adhesive has been studied in this paper. The results show that the thickness of adhesive film and adhesive line,the size and type of coupon have an effect on the metal to metal adhesive bonding peel strength of coupon for production. The index of peel strength is determined which was depended on the structural design permission defects and integrated data processing for the properties of adhesive tested.

    The chemical reaction between three different shell materials and Nd,a more active metal, was studied.The results show that the mineralization in shell material easily react to active metal, and the shell made of Y2O3 has excellent chemical stability.

    The leading and trailing inserted tube for air coolant on an aeroengine is a thin wall component,it is made of Inconel 625 alloy sheet (thickness 0.2mm).The welding technology about the tube is introduced in this paper.The results indicate the weld is leveling and uniform,the HAZ is nearly zero and the TS(Tensile Strength) σb of the weld reaches 96% of the base metal.

    LIN Dechao, SHI Yaowu. Study of the Influence on Weld Mismatching about the Welding Residual Stresses[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1999, 0(6): 24-26,29.

    The influence of strength and thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) mis-matching between the weld metal and the parent metal on the distribution of welding residual stresses was simulated by using the method of thermal elasto-plastic finite element analysis in this paper. Results of the computation under the same welding temperature field show that the longitudinal residual stresses in the weld are as high as the yield strength of the plate in the strength and TEC evenmatched joints, lower than the yield strength of the plate in the strength evenmatched and TEC undermatched joints. It also has something to do with the strain hardening exponent of the weld metal in the strength evenmatched and TEC overmatched joints. The experimental results of the residual stress have verified some computational results.

    TiC/Ni/TiC multilayer composite material was produced by self-propagating hightemperature synthesis and pseudo-hot isostatic pressing.Ni infiltrates along the thickness of the sample from the centre to two TiC layers.The infiltration pressing was analysed when Ni distributed gradually in the TiC layer Hardness values (HRA)are also measured in the TiC/Ni/TiC multilayer composite.
