    LIU Zhong-xuan. Measurement of Micro Beryllium in Magnesium Alloy by SCR Direct Photometry[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 2002, 0(12): 8-10,13.

    In solution of pH=9.6, by using EDTA and sodium tartrate as screening agent, beryllium and SCR, CTMAB form a triplet complex. The maximum absorption is achieved with the wave length of 558nm, the mole absorption coefficient is 3.06×104L·mol-1·cm-1, as the beryllium content falls within 0~5.00μg/100mL, it conforms to Beer′s law, and the measuring method is accurate and reliable with good selectiveness. Applicable measuring range is 0.0005%~0.0050% of beryllium content. Sample recovery rate of 96.8%~103.8% can be achieved. The method is suitable for measuring the micro beryllium in magnesium alloy.

    The ammonium ferrous sulfate volumetric method for the determination of high chromium and vanadium in titanium alloys was studied. The vanadium content is 35%,chromium content is 15%,the recoveries obtained are in the range of 99%~101%,RSD<2%. The method is satisfactory for practical application.

    On the basis of this paper applied thermal conductivity principle,studied the interferences of carrier gas, crucible, tin grain were studied by means of apparatus EMGA-621,the best releasing curve and the best test condition were put forward. The method has been applied to the determination of hydrogen adsorbed in titanium alloy after chemical etching.

    The method for simultaneous determination of B, Cd, Ce, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Ni, Ti, V, Zn and Zr in Al alloys by ICP-AES was presented. The spectral interferences devising from matrix element and major elements were studied. And the analytical lines were selected. The inter-standard of Y was used in the method. And the detection limits of the method were determined. The method is simple, fast and accurate.

    The method of determination of BN in seal coatings by ICP-AES was proposed. The factors such as preparation of sample solutions, the instrument parameters, spectral interference were investigated. The relative standard deviations (n=10) are less than 2%. The recovery rates of procedure are above 95%. This method is simple, fast and accurate with satisfactory results.

    The determination method of Al,B,Co,Cr,Fe,Hf,Mo,Ta,Ti and W in nickel-based superalloys by ICP-AES was studied. Effect of basic element nickel and coexistence elements were experimentally studied. The spectral line of internal element and analytical elements were optimized. Recoveries abtained were in the range of 99.0~100.4%. The method is fast、accurate and convenient.

    Influence of different cooling methods during heat treatment on mechanical properties of K465 superalloy was studied. The results show that properties and microstructure of K465 superalloy are affected obviously by the cooling methods. The size of γ′phase in specimen by air-cooling or vacuum-control-cooling is finer than that in specimen by cooling-in-furnace. Mechanical properties of K465 superalloy by air-cooling or vacuum-control-cooling can meet the criterion, but that by cooling-in-furnace is not satisfied. So air-cooling and vacuum-control-cooling are acceptable. Cooling-in-furnace is not acceptable.

    Effect of residual thermal stresses on fracture behavior and mechanical properties of Al2O3/Ni cermets was qualitatively explained by using theory on residual thermal stresses. When Ni particles are located within Al2O3 grains or Ni content is relatively low, tensile stresses are exerted at Al2O3-Al2O3 grain boundary. While fracturing, intergranular fracture is easily produced. When Ni particles are dispersed at Al2O3 grain boundary or Ni content is relatively high, compressive stresses are exerted at Al2O3-Al2O3 grain boundary. While fracturing, transgranular fracture is easily produced. In general, intergranular fracture model is favorable to enhancement of fracture toughness, and transgranular fracture model is contributed to improvement of bending strength.

    The curing properties and rheological behavior of 6421 BMI resin for RTM were studied with DSC and viscometer, respectively. Based on these experimental results, two most important RTM processing parameters, the mold temperature and the injection pressure were determined. When the temperature of mold is 110~140℃ and the injection pressure is less than 0.5MPa, the composite can be well RTM molded. Both the surface quality and the void volume in the composite are satisfying. Braided carbon composite samples were manufactured using the resin and RTM method. The mechanical properties were evaluated.

    The flow study purpose and the flow analysis idea in the injection mould running system for the Polymer melting fluid were pointed out. The volume flow formula and the pressure loss formula of the polymer melting fluid in injection mould running system were set up. The important basis for the design of the injection mould and the selection of the technological parameter was provided.
