    Plastic deformation is introduced in the surface layer of DD3 nickel monocrystal material by means of shot peening.The results measured show that the recrystallization temperature of deformed microstructures is 950℃.The recrystallization dynamic curve(N-τcurve)of deformed microstructures have been obtained under service temperature(1040℃) of monocrystal material and it is shown that the recrystallization incubation period is 20 min and the secondary recrystallization period is about 250 min.

    The effects of cold processing on ageing properties of the Ti-15-3 alloy have been studied,the cold formability and manufacturing processes of parts of this alloy have also been investigated,which provides experiences for the applications of sheet metal parts of the Ti-15-3 high strength titanium alloy.

    ZnS bulk materials have been prepared by chemical vapor deposition from H2S and Zn.The deposition process mechanics of ZnS was analyzed.The effect of deposition parameters such as deposition temperature,pressure and flow volume of H2S,Zn vapor and Ar on the thickness uniformity of ZnS was studied,and the ways of improving the thickness uniformity of ZnS and avoiding the nodular growth of ZnS on deposition surface were put forward.

    Lu Feng. Effect of the GECM Surface Protection on Galvanic Corrosion of LY12CZ Aluminum Alloy[J]. Journal of Materials Engineering, 1996, 0(12): 28-30.

    The effect of GECM with different surface treatment on the galvanic corrosion of LY12CZ alloy was investigated by applying electrochemical measurement,ASTM 5%salt spray test,alternate immersion corrosion test and atmospheric exposure.The open circuit potential by electrochemical measurement shows a relatively large potential difference of approximately 1V between the GECM and LY12CZ alloy,GECM/LY12CZ couple galvanic corrosion can take place,corrosion current data(Zero Impendance Technique)indicates that there is a serious corrosion problem at GECM/LY12CZ couple.In order to prevent galvanic corrosion,graphite and LY12CZ can not be directly contacted,GECM surface should covered with glass cloth,sealed edge,and painted.Some protection methods,such as anoding and painting,should be also taken for LY12CZ.

    The physical characteristic of composite Weibull distribution for the residual strength of CFRP after fatigue testing was explored in this paper.It's presented with the twofold property in the course of the failure of CFRP.The twofold property are showed by the matrix and fibre fracture models.The physical characteristic will be of importance to designing and application for CFRP.

    Catalytic igniter is a part of the igniting apparatus of the afterburner of an aero-engine.This paper describes the propcess for testing the igniter.The proecss is the result of a study for filling in the gaps to complete a chain of the whole engine.The effeets of the state of the catalyst on the properties of the igniter have also been explored.

    An evaluation has been made on the five heat treating processes through testing mechanical properties and observations of metallographic microstructure of alloy K 418B.Based on the results of two batch tests,the best heat treating process of the casting fine grain integral turbine disk of alloy K418B is determined.

    A slurry injection process to coat internal cooling passages of turbine blades was studied based on the ASL-5 water-based and diffusion type slurry Al-Si coating process employed for external surface protection.The results show that this process can provide coating with 100% coverage and good uniformity,and without cemetation and hole blockage using ASL5 slurry.
