美国加利福尼亚Canoga Park的G. D. Schnittgrund和D. M. Shea及军用材料工艺研究室设计研制了一种新型燃气涡轮叶片——陶瓷薄壁涡轮叶片(CBTB)。这种叶片主要由外层陶瓷壳,静止气绝热层,冷却衬,金属芯,端冒,叶根等部分组成。热屏障的关键是金属芯周围的陶瓷薄壳。通过叶尖的金属冒使陶瓷壳主要承受压应力。这种设计通过把陶瓷壳自由地安装在金属芯片,完成了陶瓷与金属材料结合的一体化设计。
