Abstract:Electroless Ni-P-PTFE-composite coatings were investigated from the viewpoint of bath formulation and technology.The influence of variables such as surfactant and PTFE concentration in solution,basic bath,temperature,pH and agitationon the volume percentage of PTFE particles in the deposit and the plating rate were examined and reviewed. A sound and homogeneous deposit containing-25~30vol%-PTFE can be produced using a optimum bath and technology.
