Abstract:Titanium silicon carbide has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity,high strength of up to 1300℃,good oxidation and thermal shock resistance and thus has been considered as candidate material for high temperature applications.The present paper described the structure,processing,and properties of titanium silicon carbide.The potential of further applications was also discussed.
