The influence of aging process on microstructure and mechnical properties of 16NiCo steel have been studied. The results show that steel aged at 440℃ shows secondary-hardening peak. This is attributed to M2C coherent precipitated at matrix dislocations.Aging at 420~440℃ tempered martensite embrittlement was observed.Temper embrittlement which occurs at 550℃ tempering is reversible.
